ANNOUNCEMENT FORM

7 Hayden has a few groups of students starting up a few initiatives.

1-    There is a group collecting pop tabs for the IWK. They hope to collect 11 pounds by Friday, June 18^th!

2-   There is a group selling 1” pins from today until Wednesday. All profits will go to the Atlantic Wildlife Institute. Wildlife pins are $1 each and for $1.50 you can order a pin with a photo or drawing of your choice. For the specialized pins, please give a piece of paper with what you want on your pin, your name, and your class written on it. Also, a note to teachers, it would be very helpful if the money for the wildlife pins, specialized pins, and written requests are kept separate. We will collect the orders each day, and the pins will be delivered to classes in 1-2 weeks after the last orders are received. For everyone’s safety, each class’s pins will be quarantined for at least two days. Thank you!

Joyful June: think of three things you are grateful for and write them down.

Due to the heat warnings and thunder storms predicted for tomorrow we are going to postpone our wellness day until later on in the week. We will look at the forecast and make a decision tomorrow.

Because it is cooler this morning please open your windows this morning but please be sure to shut them once it starts to warm up.
